We didn’t just pick the name because it has a nice ring to it! Giovanni’s was established by Giovanni Maria Castrignano who moved to Australia from Italy having cooked and managed restaurants all over the world. He perfected many of the dishes we serve here from recipes his grandfather taught him when he was in his teens. Fine Italian cooking is a family tradition but Giovanni also graduated as a master chef from the acclaimed Rome International Chef’s School.
